Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MAHSLIN Executive Board and Conference Planning Committee has had to make the difficult decision to cancel the in-person 2020 MAHSLIN Annual Meeting at Waltham Woods on Friday, June 26th and adapt to a shortened virtual meeting.
We will be offering a FREE virtual mini-Annual Meeting with our Keynote Speaker and the co-creator of the program, Judy Smith. The meeting will be held on the same date, Friday, June 26th from 10am – 12pm. It is necessary to have the business meeting this year so new officers can be presented and voted on as per the MAHSIN by-laws. The vote will take place electronically and a quorum is necessary to make the vote official. You do not have to attend the virtual meeting to submit your vote, a survey will be sent out to the membership prior to the meeting so your vote can be counted. The original keynote speaker, Tyler Nix, has adapted his presentation “Research by the Numbers: Publication Metrics in Context” for this session. He will be co-presenting with Judy Smith. She is the co-creator of the program and is now available due to the date change.
